All About Lynton House Beauty & The Academy
Six years ago, I was working as a mortgage adviser in a busy office, building on a background in finance, project management and training after completing my honours degree in Business Studies. I’d always dreamed of being self‑employed; to be in control of my income, my schedule, and to create a career that worked around my children rather than the other way around. With that in mind, I began training in beauty treatments alongside my full‑time job.
Every evening and weekend was spent learning, practicing, and slowly building the foundations of what would become my future. In October 2021, I opened my beauty business, choosing my own hours, deciding how many clients I took on, and finally experiencing the flexibility I had always wanted.
Within a year, I was fully booked while still working my day job, raising one child and preparing to welcome another. When my maternity leave ended, I faced a huge decision, return to the office or take a leap of faith and make beauty my full‑time career. I chose to take the leap, and I’ve never looked back. My diary quickly filled 4–6 weeks in advance, and with constant learning, upskilling, and a genuine passion for the industry, I realised I wanted to do more than provide treatments. I wanted to help others build the same freedom, confidence, and passion that beauty had given me.
That passion led me to qualify as an educator with my AET certification and to begin building Lynton House Beauty Academy. I created comprehensive courses, detailed manuals and a supportive learning structure designed to help students not only master treatments but grow successful businesses with lifetime guidance.
Becoming ABT‑accredited means my students leave fully certified and ready to start earning immediately. Today, with multiple industry awards and hundreds of five‑star reviews, I’m proud to teach from my dedicated space in Weasenham, Norfolk, offering small, focused classes of 1–6 students to ensure every learner receives my full support and attention.
My mission to empower others to create a career they love, with the flexibility and fulfilment they deserve, whilst providing ongoing support when needed.
