All About Lynton House Beauty & The Academy
Six years ago, I was working as a mortgage adviser in a busy office, building on a background in finance, project management, and training after completing my honours degree in Business Studies. I’d always dreamed of being self‑employed, to control my income, schedule, and create a career that worked around my children rather than the other way around. With that intention, I began my beauty training in various treatments alongside my full-time job.
Every evening and weekend was dedicated to learning and practicing as I slowly built the foundations of what would become my future in the beauty industry. In October 2021, I proudly opened my beauty business, allowing me to choose my own hours, determine how many clients to take on, and finally experience the flexibility I had always desired.
Within a year, I was fully booked while still balancing my day job, raising one child, and preparing to welcome another. When maternity leave ended, I faced a significant decision: return to the office or take a leap of faith and make beauty my full-time career. I chose to leap, and I’ve never looked back. My diary quickly filled 4–6 weeks in advance, and with constant learning and upskilling, my genuine passion for this industry blossomed. I realised I wanted to do more than provide treatments; I wanted to help others create the same freedom, confidence, and passion that beauty had given me.
This passion drove me to qualify as an educator with my AET certification and to establish the Lynton House Beauty Academy. Here, I developed comprehensive beauty courses, detailed manuals, and a supportive learning structure designed to help students not only master beauty treatments but also develop successful businesses with lifetime guidance.
Becoming ABT-accredited ensures that my students leave fully certified and ready to start earning immediately. Today, with multiple industry awards and hundreds of five-star reviews, I’m proud to teach from my dedicated space in Weasenham, Norfolk, offering small, focused beauty training classes of 1–6 students to ensure every learner receives my full support and attention.
My mission is to empower others to create a career they love, one that provides the flexibility and fulfilment they deserve, while offering ongoing support when needed.
